Howdy folks! I'm a Capricorn and I'm 19 years old, going on 9. :)
I'm very opinionated, bashful, overrated, contradicting and nothing contemporary.
I like both the dark and light, water and earth, and peaceful and dangerous.
My mood is temperate, my image is molecular, and my photographs are infinite.
My dreams are uncanny and perturbing, I am unrealistic and a bit materialistic and I see beauty in everything that is caught behind my bright blue eyes.

I live in the states. In Louisiana's capital to be exact. Even though it's where my roots rest and how my blood runs, I'm no mud-grubbin', swamp feller. I'm a city boy and proud of it. I have a very integrated family tree. I'm part french, german, cajun indian and totally one of a kind!

My life has consisted of three things in the past several years: video games, music and photography. I'm a serious modern gamer with a nostalgia for some vintage, throwback games as well. I love a good competitive game of Halo, Gears of War or Call of Duty and I also love a long journey through an adventurous RPG. I'm an ambitious musician who focuses on techniques and composition above anything else. I play electric guitar as well as acoustic and I dabble around the piano. My taste in music is boundless and yet my tolerance for all of it is groundless. I'm a hobbyist as a photographer who snaps what he sees. I like to be spontaneous with my photographs and snap whatever I think looks good at the time and sometimes I'll even go a little conceptual. I'm big fan of photography of all sorts, but the beauty of nature and our urban lifestyles really catches my eye.

If you guys have any questions or just want to talk just hit me up! I love chatting and getting feedback. I think this is one of the my gratifying places to make friendships so don't be shy like me!

Personal quote: "Feed me fear."
Interests
  • Mood: Delighted
  • Listening to: Between the Buried and Me
  • Reading: The Mockingjay
  • Watching: Arrested Development
  • Playing: Mass Effect 2
For those of you who are unaware, I am a musician and a metalhead(but I love a lot more than metal)! I play mainly guitar and only dabble around with pianos and keyboards. I've been playing since the summer of 06' or so. I had always played on my father's acoustic when I went to his house every other weekend prior to that, but it was nothing serious. Believe it or not, what got me into playing is winning my very first guitar(which I still have to this day and sits in the music shop I work) at a local Guitar Hero II competition. It is a Michael Kelly and it is a "HELL YEAH!!!" guitar, cooked out with flame inlays and a flame bridge(pictures later possibly).

Being a guitarist, I love covering other band's songs. Covering is how I started to learn. I don't have much knowledge of the theory or composition, I just know what I know. Covering has taught me the basic structures and techniques and many other things. I started out playing As I Lay Dying and Killswitch Engage's riffs. It started a good foundation for my playing and as I've matured with age, so has my taste in music. Now I like to consider my self to be in a much higher tier of guitar playing.

A few months back I bought a PreSonus FireStudio interface, a Sennheiser e609 microphone and a Shure SM57 microphone and I've been using them to create high quality covers. The covers I've been working on recently have been of my most favored band.. my most listened to band.. my idol band.. Between the Buried and Me. I would like to show you guys what I've been up to! (:

This is my most recent cover and is tied for my favorite cover and favorite song overall. I'm extremely proud of this one.

Let me tell you then.

Lollipop Chainsaw is a hack 'n slash zombie game developed by infamous game designer Suda51, maker of such gems as Killer7 and the No More Heroes games. In it, you play as Juliet Sterling, cheerleader/zombie hunter and former student of San Romero High School. One day, San Romero High School (and I think the rest of the town) is overrun with zombies courtesy of one of Juliet's former classmates, a goth guy named Swan, and "a group of rock and roll zombie lords". Armed with her chainsaw, and the still-living disembodied head of her boyfriend, Nick, Juliet sets out to put an end to Swan's plans.

With the game set to release next month (June 12th in North America to be exact), I decided to tell as many people as possible in hopes of boosting sales come launch day, so the game won't flop like Suda51's last game. If you would like to see Lollipop Chainsaw in action, here are some links.

I hope you're not wierded out by my just up and telling you this out of the blue, and I'm sorry if you are. I would just like as many people as possible to know about this game. Oh sure, I could just post a journal entry about it, but I would like to reach as wide an audience as I can. That said, let me know what you think of it.
